My name is Amelia, and I'm an illustrator based in Baltimore. I have a BFA in Illustration from BYU and an MFA in Illustration Practice from MICA. I am currently accepting new work.

 

My work is a mishmash of illustration and craft, with a focus on experimentation and whimsy. I make work that examines themes of womanhood, rebellion, and divinity, and I explore the illustrative potential of traditionally "soft" feminine crafts with a modern feminist twist.

 

My work has been featured in multiple exhibitions, and on Craft Smith products selling in Michael's craft stores. I won first place in the Come to Finland 2018 international travel poster competition. My travel poster is featured on the Come to Finland website, and is published exclusively through their product line.
